Mangata Festival is organised by a collective of heavy music enthusiasts. We have a passion for live music and love for Nottingham.

Our Aims 

• Support Our Grassroots Artists - celebrate the amazing talent in the Nottingham underground alternative scene and offer as many of them as possible a chance to play.

• Celebrate Local - work with local business in our sponsorship & partner deals. We were really excited to make this happen with local breweries Liquid Light and Blue Monkey breweries in 2024, as well as a number of local traders who appeared in the marketplace. 

• Be Affordable - keep the event tickets as low as we can to make it as affordable as possible for the local community. 

• Be Sustainable - make the greenest choices we can without putting cost at the forefront of our decision making. If we can't afford to make our event as environmentally friendly as possible, we don't deserve to have it.
